Trinamool, BNP and Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM), which suddenly came into limelight after getting registration with the Election Commission as political parties, have said that they will field their candidates in all 300 constituencies in the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections.
However, both parties have faced internal disputes, particularly over leadership, as key initiators of the parties no longer hold primary leadership positions.
There are ongoing discussions in the country’s political dominance as the government is believed to have patronized the formation of these two so-called ‘King’s parties’. Both the parties are active in fielding candidates along with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) rebels, but nothing much is visible so far.
