Entertainment website TMZ reported that Presley was found “unresponsive” at his celebrity-studded home in the Los Angeles suburb of Calabasas on Thursday morning by his housekeeper.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department, which runs paramedic services, told media that crews observed a woman suffering cardiac arrest shortly after 10:30 a.m. (1830 GMT), without confirming her identity.
TMZ said Presley’s ex-husband, Danny Keough, who also lives at the property, performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took her to a hospital, where she was placed in an induced coma on life support .
As recently as Tuesday, mother and daughter were spotted together at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, where Austin Butler won best actor in a drama for his turn as The King in Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis.” Awarded.
