A man died after falling from the rooftop of a three-storey building in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur yesterday morning.
The incident happened in Chandrima Model Town.
The deceased is Md Suruj Sheikh, 40, of Tangail. He was a security guard in the building. Suruj was watering plants on the rooftop around 9:00am when he accidentally fell, said his nephew Md Babu.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Inspector Md Faruk, in-charge of DMCH police camp, said the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
