At the briefing the minister said the vaccines and syringes would be collected and distributed across the country between Thursday and Friday.
He said that to ensure smooth implementation of the campaign, leave of all health workers at the field level has been cancelled.
Addressing the preparedness, the minister said adequate ventilator support is available to cope with measles cases and hospitals have been equipped with the required number of beds.
