Defeated Argentina football hero Lionel Messi returned to his hometown on Tuesday after a painful defeat in the World Cup final.
The national team captain landed at Rosario airport with his wife and three children in a private jet at about 6:30 a.m. (0930 GMT), a local government source told AFP on condition of anonymity.
