Dhaka’s metro rail has added another stop with the opening of Uttara Center station on Saturday.

DMTCL Managing Director MAN Siddiqui said, “The Uttara Center station was opened for passengers at 8 am on Saturday.” “Mirpur-10 station will open on March 1.”

Uttara Center station will be the fourth and Mirpur-10 station will be the fifth stop added to the urban transit line. Four others – Uttara South, Mirpur-11, Kazipara, and Shevrapara – will eventually be opened.

All the four stations will be operational by next March, which means nine stops will be used for regular service on the Uttara to Agargaon section.
