David Miller and Abhinav Manohar’s batting attack helped defending champions Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians by 55 runs in the Indian Premier League on Tuesday.
Left-handed Miller (46 from 22 balls) and rising Indian talent Manohar (42 from 21 balls) shared a 71-run partnership to help Gujarat post a mammoth 207-6 at home in Ahmedabad.
The Miller-Manohar show, which included seven sixes, and Rahul Tewatia’s unbeaten five-ball 20 helped Gujarat post 94 runs in the final six overs of mayhem.
Man of the match Manohar said, “I think I’ve got the knack of timing the ball well and I’ve been doing it from a young age and to do it at this level feels special, it’s a Feels like a dream.”
