Sharing his dilemma, Umar Farooq, a parent, told Prothom Alo, “Brother, I came to know that teachers are not aware of this. My two little ones are getting ready for school, what can I say?”
Several schools in the district, contacted around 8:00 a.m., said they had not yet officially confirmed the decision. However, some schools were seen sharing the closure notice on their Facebook pages.
