Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been admitted to a hospital in Dhaka after suddenly falling ill.
Speaking to Prothom Alo, BNP media cell member Sairul Kabir Khan said, “He (Mirza Fakhrul) had come to the BNP president’s office in the morning (Monday). At around 11 in the morning, he suddenly felt severe shortness of breath. He was taken to the combined hospital in Gulshan.
