Joypurhat railway station master Rezaul Islam said the train reached the station at around 11:50 pm, while the fire was still burning. One or two seats have been burnt in the fire.
The fire was brought under control with the help of railway and fire brigade personnel. The station master said that later the train left the station towards its destination.
Confirming the news to Prothom Alo, OC Muktar Hussain said that legal steps are being taken in connection with the incident.
