“Three women and four children died in this incident. All non-Iranian citizens,” he said.
He said that the attack targeted a village near Sarwan city on the Pakistan border.
Iran’s Mehr news agency earlier reported “drone and missile attacks” in the restive region, adding that “several” people were injured.
The missile attack came two days after Iran struck “terrorist” targets in Pakistan, killing at least two children.
