State Disaster Management and Relief Minister Enamur Rahman said Cyclone Mocha is likely to hit Teknaf and Myanmar coasts on Saturday evening and early Sunday, turning into a ‘super cyclone’.
The state minister told this to the first Aalo on Wednesday evening. He said that the wind speed during the cyclone could be between 180 km to 220 km.
The Meteorological Department said that the deep pressure over the Bay of Bengal could turn into a cyclone after Wednesday evening.
