Three day film festival of prominent film director Morshedul Islam is highly appreciated by film lovers of the city. This three day film festival started on Thursday at Natmandal of Dhaka University and Saturday is the last day of the festival. Cultural organization Tapur Tupur organized this festival. Managing director of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation M Hamid inaugurated the festival on Thursday. Chief executive of Tapur Tupur Wahidul Islam, editor of The Daily Sangbad Kazi Rafique and general secretary of Children’s Film Society Munira Morshed Munni were present among others. All of them praised director Morshedul Islam for his outstanding movies for children.
Films Agami, Priyotomeshu and Chaka were screened on the first day of the festival and films on children Amar Bandhu Rashed, Dipu Number Two and Duratto were screened on Friday. In fact Friday was children’s day. More three films will be screened on the last day of the festival.
