Knowing Mugler's penchant for bold experimentation with solid colors, especially black, we chose a dress that reflected this aesthetic. I wore a newly designed saree by House of Ahmed, with zardozi embroidered sleeves and a leather blouse with intricate beads. Meanwhile, Shanta Lifestyle CEO Sajid wore a sleek black silk and velvet tuxedo designed by Mehrooz Munir of Zurheim, adorned with glamorous beading on the velvet portion.
Mugler's fashion show deviated from traditional runway presentations and turned into a theatrical spectacle. Forty-one models graced the catwalk, initially emerging in groups as the curtains slowly unveiled the majestic halls of the Lycée Carnot School. Mugler's signature bold and feminine style shone through, highlighted by the predominant use of black, complemented by accents of red and unexpected prints.
