Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has bowled 12 overs in the T20 World Cup so far and has taken four wickets for just 47 runs. He did not give more than 20 runs in any of these matches. He gave 18 runs against South Africa, which is his highest number of runs so far in the tournament.
The Netherlands batsmen could score only 12 runs against the cutter master yesterday, Thursday. The former Bangladesh captain praised Mustafizur a lot.
Speaking to ESPN Cricinfo after the Bangladesh-Netherlands match, he said, “I think the way Mustafiz is bowling at the moment is unbelievable. He has always been a bowler who has bowled the tough overs. He has been given the tough overs and he is doing very well. This wicket is very favourable for Bangladesh. It is almost like playing at home.”
Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain turned the match in Bangladesh's favour by taking two wickets in the 15th over. Tamim believes this was the turning point of the match.
