Myanmar ambassador summoned to state guest house Padma: Bangladesh protests border violence

Myanmar Ambassador Aung Kyaw Moe has been summoned to the Foreign Ministry today.

Director General (Myanmar Wing) of the Ministry of External Affairs, MIA MD Mainul Kabir called the Ambassador at the State guesthouse Padma at around 11 am today.

Bangladesh has been angered by the death of two people inside Bangladesh due to a mortar shell coming from Myanmar.

Bangladesh will strongly protest against the incidents of border violence in Myanmar.

A fierce battle is going on between the army and the rebel group Arakan Army in Myanmar’s Rakhine state. The clash in Myanmar has frightened Bangladeshi residents near the border area. As the sounds of fighting continued on the other side of the border, many villagers left their homes and moved to safer places.
