National committee recommends fourth dose for citizens over 60, frontliners

DGHS sources said the National Technical Advisory Committee (NTAC) on COVID-19 has recommended the government to administer the fourth dose to citizens above 60, frontliners and pregnant women.

Meanwhile, the government will conduct a week-long special vaccination drive from December 1 as part of Mahan Vijay Maah to administer the third dose among about 90 lakh people.

In 2021, the Kovid-19 vaccination program started in Bangladesh on 27 January.
