The National Citizen Party (NCP) has alleged that its chief coordinator Naseeruddin Patwari was pelted with eggs and his convoy was attacked in Sadipur area of Benapole in Jashore today, Wednesday.
However, the police have denied reports of any such incident.
According to NCP, the incident took place around 1:15 pm on Wednesday (June 3) when Naseeruddin Patwari was returning from a visit to Sadipur border. The party claimed that Chhatra Shakti’s Khan Miftahul Mustafiz and Taskin Ahmed along with Jubo Shakti’s Rupam Ahsan were injured in the attack. After this, Patwari and other party leaders have left for Dhaka.
