Never ending education projects: why no action against those responsible

0 minutes, 44 seconds Read

Former education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan blamed the project director’s lack of experience and lack of action against those responsible for such a situation. This may be partially true. This is more likely to happen if the project director is appointed on the basis of seniority, not merit and experience.

Apart from the Project Director, there is also a higher authority to oversee the work of the project. In this case both superiors and subordinates rigged the project. The minister, secretary and director general of the directorate have been changed, but the project is not over yet. How is it?

Strict legal action should be taken against the persons involved in the implementation of the project with specific allegations and evidence. Such projects, funded with people’s tax money, cannot be allowed to go on for years. All superiors and subordinates related to projects should be held accountable.
