New English language international television to be launched to battle islamophobia

Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysian leaders have agreed to launch an English language international television to confront challenges faced by Muslims. After the New Zealand attack on two mosques, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Kahan commented, “This reaffirms what we have always maintained: that terrorism does not have a religion.”
But the reality is Muslims are most blamed terrorism. In his recent speech on UN general assembly, Pakistani Prime Minister commented, “The moment you use the catchword ‘Islamic Terrorism’ the whole world turns away, no one talks about human rights, you can do whatever you want, which is what happened in Kashmir because you keep using the word ‘Islamic terrorism’.”
Islamophobia are on the rise in Western world. Some politicians around the world are capitalizing on it. Muslims are becoming victims of hate crimes. There are allegations that top international media are not presenting terrorism and Islamic issues properly.
Al Jazeera have been playing a role to represent international events properly. But there are allegations that Qatari channel have also compromised in many issues.
Pakistani Prime Minister has become very popular in his country for properly responding to Indian fighter jet attacks earlier this year. His recent speech in UN general assembly is also highly appreciated, where he said non-Muslim fundamentalist are spreading Islamophobia and capitalizing on it.
Turkish president also commented, Muslims are the most vulnerable community to hate speech across the world. Hate speech as among the worst crimes against humanity.
It is expected this new television will produce series and films representing Islamic issues and history properly.
