The government has appointed Prof Helaluddin Nizami as a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for three years . he is of accounting and information system department at Chittagong University
During his tenure in the SEC he will not be able to hold any other post, as according to an order of the Banking Division in the finance ministry released yesterday.
The appointment was made as part of rearranging the SEC. another member and a new chairman will be appointed soon.
Meanwhile the probe report on share market scam was published on Saturday by the finance minister.
