“You’ve heard me say it for years, ‘There’s never an excuse for a man to put his hands on a woman,’ and now I’m speaking out on TMZ,” Dana White, 53, told the outlet.
He added, “There was definitely a lot of alcohol involved, but that’s not an excuse. I’m not really making an excuse for this thing, it’s never happened before it’s the first time… I don’t know Why did this happen and my wife and I have apologized to each other, we have apologized to our children.”
Several times in the interview, Dana indicated she was most concerned about the impact of the incident on her children.
“My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years,” he said. “We’ve known each other since we were 12. Apparently we’ve been together for a while (offensive), and we have three kids. It’s one of those situations that’s awful. I’m embarrassed. But it’s also one of those situations that right now we’re more concerned about our kids. We have three kids and obviously since the video came out, we’ve shown the kids the video. We’re more concerned about our family right now Are focusing.
