Noting that a conspiracy was taking place regarding the upazila elections, the AL general secretary urged the party leaders and workers to remain alert and not get involved in any conflict.
Quader questioned whether any election was held peacefully without any reason during the BNP rule.
He said the first phase of the sixth Upazila Parishad elections was conducted peacefully and there was no news of any conflict.
He said, therefore, the credit for this peaceful election should be given to the Election Commission and the government.
AL General Secretary said that the voting percentage in the elections cannot be called very good but can be called moderate.
Rejecting BNP's call to boycott the elections, many party leaders took part in the Upazila Parishad elections, he said.
He claimed, no one listens to anyone in BNP.
He said that the BNP, which is stuck in the quagmire of errors, will not be able to achieve anything.
He said, though BNP leaders talk big, they are internally disappointed.
