Minister of State for Information, Communications and Technology Junaid Ahmed expressed dissatisfaction over the conduct of Mizanur Rahman, working as Officer-in-Charge (OC) at Singra station. The discontent arose after local residents leveled allegations against him during a public hearing in Natore’s Singra Upazila on Sunday.
The Natore Superintendent of Police (SP) ordered the withdrawal of the accused police officer after a public hearing the same day in the morning. However, the order was later canceled on Monday morning.
A public hearing was held on Sunday at 10:00 am in the premises of Upazila Parishad regarding criminal acts like theft, looting and drug related activities within 12 unions and Paraswa of Upazila.
