When journalists questioned Faisal in court about the killing of Usman Hadi in Bangladesh, he said, “I did not do that. I was not involved in such acts.”
When Faisal was asked whether he had been framed, he avoided answering.
However, according to STF sources, during interrogation, both Faisal and Alamgir have confessed to their involvement in the murder of Usman Hadi in Dhaka.
Inquilab Moncho convener Sharif Usman Hadi was shot dead in Dhaka on December 12 last year.
During the investigation, the name of Faisal Karim, former leader of the banned organization Bangladesh Chhatra League, came to light. Intelligence officials said Faisal and Alamgir were on the motorcycle used in the shooting.
