Pak PM will demand new economic package from UAE

Broadcaster ARY News quoted sources as saying on Thursday that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will demand a new economic package for his country from the United Arab Emirates during his two-day visit.

The report said Sharif would also seek deferment of a $2 billion loan repayment to the United Arab Emirates in the coming weeks and would finalize a $2 billion investment in Pakistan during his visit on Thursday and Friday. Will talk.

Pakistan’s information ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.
