To achieve Smart Bangladesh characterized by Smart Citizens, Smart Government, Smart Society and Smart Economy, it is imperative to formulate policies that guarantee marginalized communities are not only included but also thrive.
This includes ensuring widespread access to technology, promoting digital literacy universally, leveraging e-governance to make public services more transparent and accountable, and revising legal norms to protect digital freedoms.
Furthermore, the Caucus advocates active community participation and ensures that all initiatives resonate with the Sustainable Development Goals, guaranteeing a holistic approach to development that promotes justice and equity.
Saeed Ahmed and Shaheen Parveen from Institute of Informatics and Development (IID) also participated in the meeting.
