The country’s cricket board chairman Najam Sethi on Monday said Mickey Arthur is set to return as Pakistan’s head coach.
According to media reports, former spinner Saqlain Mushtaq has decided not to extend his coaching contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Sethi is keen to bring Arthur back.
“I am personally in talks with Mickey and we have resolved 90 per cent of the issues,” Sethi told a press conference.
“Hopefully, we’ll be sharing news that Mickey will be joining us very soon.”
