People want unconditional talks between political parties: Badiul Alam

Badiul Alam Majumdar, secretary of Shushashonar Jonno Nagorik (Shujan), said that the majority of the population of Bangladesh wants unconditional dialogue between political parties. The debate between the political government and the caretaker government should be resolved through negotiations.

“The ongoing crisis in the country’s politics needs to be resolved through dialogue rather than conflict. Let the solution emerge through dialogue. None of us want conflict, we want political co-existence,” Badiul Alam said while addressing a Barishal divisional workshop organized by Shujaan at the BDS auditorium in the city.

Leaders of political parties, social and business organizations participated in the workshop organized by Shujaan.

Presiding over the program, Badiul Alam said that Bangladesh was created through people’s war. On the call of Bangabandhu, people joined the liberation war and shed their blood. But unfortunately political parties want to run the country as per their wish.
