PM gets eye treatment for Rs 10 like a normal patient

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has undergone medical treatment at a public hospital like any other normal patient.

He was treated at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.

The Prime Minister went to the National Eye Hospital at 8 am. First she went to the ground floor to collect a 10 taka ticket from the hospital counter.

Thereafter she went to the designated doctor for examination of her eyes.

Professor Dr. Golam Mustafa, Director of the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital, welcomed the Prime Minister on his arrival.

While leaving the hospital, the PM greeted the nurses, patients and their relatives. He inquired about them and took photographs with them at the National Institute of Ophthalmology and Hospital premises.

Earlier, the premier had taken treatment at the same hospital several times.
