The AL president asked everyone, especially his party members, to remain vigilant against arsonists who burnt people to death, including a mother and her child.
He also directed them to maintain faith and trust in the Awami League through their work, for which they went to the polling stations, disregarding the call of the “BNP and Jamaat faction” to boycott the elections.
“We have to work for the country without paying attention to the words of those who want to sabotage the elections and who do not want democracy. The people of the country have boycotted him,” he asserted.
The Prime Minister also stressed the need to bring every inch of arable land under cultivation to grow more food, diversify the country’s export basket and explore new export markets for Bangladeshi goods.
Noting that his government has taken education and health services to the doorsteps of people, he said the services will continue.
Regarding the AL election manifesto 2024, Sheikh Hasina said, “We keep the promises made to the people.”
He also said that the achievements, promises and what is to be done in the future of the AL government are explained in detail in the election manifesto. The AL president asked his party leaders and workers to read the manifesto thoroughly. “Then you will be able to understand our political ideology and work accordingly.”
