Asked about the Prime Minister’s speech regarding Khaleda Zia’s medical treatment abroad, Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, “She (Sheikh Hasina) in her speech yesterday, Monday, specifically mentioned her (Khaleda Zia) What was announced about the treatment… such an ugly statement… we cannot even imagine or accept that a sitting Prime Minister could give such a speech.
Condemning the Prime Minister’s speech, the BNP leader said, “We use democratic language because we want to restore democracy. We believe in civility, tolerance and freedom to express dissent, as enshrined in the Constitution. Addresses fundamental issues with utmost importance.” ,
