During her visit to Tokyo, the Prime Minister will also hold a number of additional bilateral meetings, including meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and meeting with leaders of JAICA, JETRO, JEBIC, JBPFL and JBCCEC.
The Bangladesh prime minister will also meet Aki Abe, wife of late former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, and Tadao Ando, a Japanese architect.
In addition, Japan’s state television channel NHK will broadcast an interview with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Later on 1 May, the Prime Minister will leave Japan for the United States to attend celebrations marking 50 years of partnership between Bangladesh and the World Bank in Washington DC on 1 May.
On May 4, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will depart from Washington for London to attend the coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Dhaka from London on May 9.
