“Large numbers of women and children in Palestine are currently deprived of essential medical and health services. They are fighting for survival every day,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina called for a more effective role from the United Nations and other international organizations in ensuring essential health services for all in Palestine, where people are fighting for survival every day against Israeli aggression and occupation.
“I hope the United Nations and other international organizations will play a more effective role in ensuring essential health services for all there, especially women and children,” she said.
He said that given the harmful impact of climate change on public health and other health risks, it is essential to ensure international cooperation to protect the health and well-being of people, especially mothers, children and the elderly, from health risks.
She added, “At the same time, I also consider it important to pay attention to the populations who are troubled and marginalized by conflicts and political causes.”
