Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are among the world leaders who are visiting the African country this week.
On Sheikh Hasina’s visit, Momen said that the Prime Minister’s time will be very busy during his visit to South Africa.
On August 23, he is expected to deliver a speech as the chief guest at the ‘Bangladesh Business and Trade Summit’ jointly organized by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
Later, she will participate in the ‘Regional Envoys’ Conference’ organized by Bangladesh ambassadors posted in African countries.
On the same day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to hold courtesy calls on the Heads of State and Government of the BRICS member states, including the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa.
During the evening, Sheikh Hasina will attend a ‘State Banquet’ hosted by the current BRICS Chair and the South African President.
