Minister of State for Religious Affairs Mohammad Faridul Haq Khan, MP, presided over the ceremony, while Qazi Enamul Hasan, secretary of the ministry, delivered the welcome address.
Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mehboob Ali, MP Habib Hasan, Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Essa Yousuf Essa Al Dulaihan and Haj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) President Shahadat Hussain Taslim also spoke on the occasion.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a video documentary on Haj Management was screened.
