The Prime Minister wrote, “As the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh, along with the newly constituted Council of Ministers, I pay my humble tributes to the brave martyrs of the Great Liberation War of 1971, whose sacrifice made our independent Bangladesh possible.”
Tariq Rehman paid deep respect to all the martyrs of the movement to establish democracy in the country in the history of the country, from the 1971 war of independence to the “war to protect the freedom of the country and its people in 2024”.
He wrote, “I myself and we believe that the aspiration of the martyrs was to establish a secure, humane, democratic, independent, sovereign Bangladesh. We have started working for the establishment of the Bangladesh of the martyrs’ aspiration.”
“May Allah give us success in implementing every program announced before the people,” the Prime Minister said.
