Poet Mohammad Rafiq has passed away at the age of 80. He breathed his last at around 9:00 pm on Sunday night while being taken from Barishal to Dhaka for better treatment.
The poet’s cousin MD Shibli, who heads the Department of Management at Bagerhat Bayrayan Hussain Degree College, confirmed the news to Prothom Alo.
