Police raided the residences of BNP central leaders and detained party general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir from his Gulshan residence in the morning.
The BNP said law enforcement agencies raided the residences of party standing committee member Ameer Khasru Mahmood Chowdhury, joint general secretary Syed Moazzam Hussain Alal and international affairs committee member Ishraq Hussain.
