Ports are advised to continue hoisting Local Warning Signal 3 as the Monsoon Depression is moving west-northwest

The sea ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Pera have been advised to keep local warning signal numbers. As per UNB report, Monsoon Depression 3 has moved west-northwestwards over India’s West Bengal-Bihar & neighborhood and is presently lying over North Chhattisgarh & neighborhood.

A special bulletin issued by the Met office on Thursday said that the depression is expected to move in west-northwest direction and gradually weaken into a low level.
