Regarding the primary scholarship examination, the Education Minister said that there is one country and one education system.
Therefore, it has been decided that the Primary Scholarship Examination will be conducted with a single question paper.
However, since the number of students in government schools is more, 80 percent scholarship will be given to government school students and 20 percent to students of private schools including kindergarten.
The minister said that a total of 82,500 students will get scholarships at the primary level. Of them, 33,000 will get merit scholarships – 27,500 for government schools and 5,500 for private schools. At the same time, there will be 49,500 general scholarships, which includes 41,250 scholarships for government schools and 8,250 scholarships for private schools.
