The flight is scheduled to arrive at Brussels Zaventem Airport at 1845 hours on 24 October (Brussels time).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s upcoming visit to Brussels will help take Bangladesh’s relations with the European Union (EU) to a new height, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said at an inaugural press conference in his ministry.

“Bangladesh and the European Union can announce taking their 50-year partnership to new heights,” he said.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold several meetings with the leaders of European countries on the sidelines of the forum.

On the morning of 25 October, she will hold a bilateral meeting with EC Executive Vice-President and European Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis.

Later, the Bangladesh Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with EC President Ursula von der Leyen.

Following this bilateral meeting, a Line of Credit Agreement worth 350 million Euros on renewable energy sector will be signed between the Economic Relations Department (ERD) of the Government of Bangladesh and the European Investment Bank.
