PM leaves for Saudi Arabia to attend international conference on women in Islam
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) this morning to attend the International Conference on Women in Islam being held in Jeddah.

The Kingdom is hosting the conference on November 6-8 in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS that a commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the Prime Minister and members of his entourage, took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at around 09.10 am.

Several cabinet ministers, cabinet secretaries, chiefs of the three services, the Inspector General of Police and the head of the diplomatic corps were present at the airport to see off the Prime Minister.

She will arrive at Madinah’s Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz International Airport at around 1:20 pm local time.

The Prime Minister will visit the Rauza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid Al-Nabawi in Madinah and offer Fateha there after Asr prayers.
