Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) people have attacked Prothom Alo Chittagong University correspondent Mosharraf Shah.
Mosharraf said that people from BCL had threatened him not to write a report on BCL, the student wing of the ruling Awami League, while he was being beaten.
He was attacked in front of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities on the campus at 11:30 am on Sunday.
Mosharraf said followers of Rezaul Haq, president of the university unit BCL, attacked him.
