Speaking to Prothom Alo this morning, Meteorological Department meteorologist Bazlur Rasheed said rain started in Dhaka around 6:45 am, with strong winds gusting to 83 km/h in the city.
He said that parts of Mymensingh, Chattogram, Sylhet and Dhaka received rain in the initial hours, but there is no possibility of any significant rain in the remaining hours.
