Iran’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday that it had received messages from the United States through “friendly countries” about a request for talks, but denied any such talks since the beginning of the war.
According to the official IRNA news agency, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai said, “In the past few days, messages have been received through some friendly countries indicating a US request for talks aimed at ending the war.”
However, he “denied any negotiations or negotiations with the United States during the last 24 days of the imposed war”.
