An official of an RMG factory in Bhogara area of Ghazipur, on condition of anonymity, said, “We have opened the factory amid some fear. Since the workers have shown enthusiasm, we are hopeful that there will be no problems now.
According to Ghazipur Industrial Police sources, the factories reopened on Saturday. He said workers joined the work site peacefully and no worker unrest was reported till 10:30 am.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Ghazipur Industrial Police told Prothom Alo that they are patrolling various areas and no disturbance has been reported so far.
