RMG workers demonstrated in Jorun area of Konabari in Ghazipur city on Monday morning demanding payment of dues, Eid bonus and annual earned leave money.
Workers of Keya Knit Composite Limited started protesting by blocking the Konabari-Kashimpur regional road at around 6 in the morning.
The spinning factory named Keya Knit Composite Limited is located in Jorun area of the city.
Factory workers and police sources said that although factory officials had made commitments, they have not paid February dues, earned leave amount and Eid bonus.
There are about eight thousand employees in the factory.
When the employees demanded salary and bonus on Sunday, the officials started dilly-dallying.
