He said, without his knowledge, photographs taken for that campaign were used to market 18K Ronaldinho.
He told MPs that he had become aware that the company was using his name, but had not taken legal action, saying he himself was a victim of the alleged scam.
Ronaldinho had failed to appear at two earlier hearing dates set by the committee. The MPs had threatened that the police would force them to testify.
During the two-hour hearing, he refused to answer several of her questions, exercising his right to remain silent.
His brother and business representative, Roberto de Assis Moreira, testified before the same committee last week.
