Ghana coach Otto Addo on Thursday complained about the umpiring in his team’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of Portugal at the World Cup, saying Cristiano Ronaldo’s history-making goal was a gift from the referee.
Ronaldo won, and then scored a 65th-minute penalty to give Portugal the lead – and become the first man to score in five World Cup appearances – as they won their Group H game.
